Interferon Free HEP C Treatments

The new generation of Hepatitis C treatments are now available in Wales. Theses treatments offer the prospect higher success rates, being on treatment for less time, and fewer side affects (particularly those associated with interferon).

In October 2015 Welsh Government set aside £13.8 million to fund new Hepatitis C drugs. Interferon free Hepatitis C treatments have been rolled out to everyone with Hep C in Wales and there is currently no waiting list for treatment.
