Haemophilia Wales is a registered charity number 1158941 based in Wales and run solely by volunteers with Haemophilia or affected by Haemophilia, and is for the benefit of everyone with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Haemophilia Wales provides an information and advice service, we collect and disseminate information on all matters concerning Haemophilia and exchange information with other related bodies, We advertise our services at Haemophilia Centres in Wales and on social media.
We offer mutual support to remove isolation. Our Trustees are all affected by Haemophilia and we share experiences and knowledge so that people can make informed choices and this in turn generates a stronger voice to apply to decision makers. We provide a united voice when speaking to the medical profession, Government. We work collaboratively with Haemophilia Charities and campaigning groups both nationally and Internationally. Haemophilia is treatable and we encourage a ‘Can Do’ attitude for children with bleeding disorders to live positively with their condition.
